Darn it!  I've fallen victim to the cold that's making its way around our area.  Not entirely sure even who I picked it up from, as our kids have had a milder version of it for days, but nearly everyone else I know has come down with it as well.  I got the super-ultra-power-bug version of it.  After a day sleeping in bed, quite literally, I seem to be coming out of the worst of it.  Looks like the hubby powered his way thru it in about 3 hours.  I seriously hope this is the end of all the coughing and hacking up yucky stuff.  I still feel loopy and somewhat zombiefied, so I really hope this is the end of it, I don't think I'd deal well with another day like this.  Send healthy vibes please!

Fucking A... My ex *sigh* in Cleveland has a nasty cold and said shit was going around. How far away are you from there, I know you live in MI, right? Must be travelling!!! Hope you feel better soon.

Cleveland is at least a 5 hour drive from where we live, but I'm not surprised if it turns out to be the same yuck. Started out as one day of scratchy throat followed by (now) two days heavily medicated on NyQuil and in bed for 22/24 hours of the day. If it follows current trends between how long I have something vs how fast my husband burns thru it, I should only have the really nasty part for a little over one more day (I hope!). I really want to be better for this weekend.
